Textil Art by La Gadoue, Table setting by Subtile
Gallery Subtile recently hosted its annual art dinner, an emblematic event crafted by Catherine Lebrun, who for the third consecutive year has brought together art enthusiasts and food lovers.
In an intimate setting, 34 guests had the pleasure of enjoying a meal prepared by young chef Charles Biwer, served in unique and handmade ceramic plates made by Cathy Deprez for Subtile and all inspired by the three colors that define the current exhibition, “Burst of Light.” featuring Glass Variation and La Gadoue.
The evening was highlighted by captivating artistic performances, including a live sculpture created by artist Saul Velasques de Castro. Fully immersed in his creative process, he captured the attention of guests, transforming the space into a vibrant art workshop. After engaging with the audience, he brought to life a delicate piece representing a woman and a man, a moment of emotion etched in everyone’s memory.

Guests were also invited to participate in acting games and readings, adding an interactive touch to this rich culinary experience. Each participant embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm, turning the evening into a shared artistic celebration.
To complement these culinary delights, Hadrien from the young Maison Bertrand carefully selected biodynamic wines, perfectly in tune with the spirit of the venue. The chosen wines elevated each dish, while the tableware, specially designed for the event, unique and organic, highlighting the beauty of imperfection, it added an elegant touch to this celebration of gastronomy.
